Vaccinations

We know that vaccinations are essential to protect your pet from many serious or life-threatening diseases and illnesses. We work with you to develop a personalized vaccination schedule that encompasses the best preventative care for your pet based on your pet’s activities and environment.Pet owners should be advised that the rabies vaccination is required by law for all canines and felines.

Dental Care

Bad breath?, trouble eating? We can help…. The value of an oral exam should not be overlooked. Poor oral health can lead to other medical conditions. We offer routine preventative care to keep plaque and tartar at bay, as well as dental cleanings and extractions. Dental services include the use of safe, effective anesthetic and constant monitoring to ensure patient safety.

Abdominal Ultrasound and Echocardiography

Abdominal ultrasound and Echocardiograms can be performed at our practice when determined necessary for your pet’s diagnosis by a board certified internist.

A simple and permanent form of pet ID that reveals your pets unique dog ID or cat ID number when scanned.

Saying Goodbye

Saying goodbye to a loved one is difficult…. Deciding when to do so is even harder. We want you to know, we’ll be right by your side. You and your pet will be treated with the utmost compassion and dignity.

Sometimes, home is the most comforting place to be when saying goodbye to a loved one. At River Valley Veterinary Hospital, our empathy and care extends beyond the clinic itself. We offer in-home euthanasia, where you can say goodbye in the place where memories were created.

Pharmacy

In order to expedite our patient’s access to proper medication, we offer in house pharmacy and an online portal where you can order your pet’s prescriptions.

You can have your family member on the road to recovery as soon as you leave your exam.
We also keep you stocked with the best flea and tick preventatives.

Annual visits give all of us at River Valley Veterinary Hospital the chance to truly get to know you and your pet.

Developing a relationship with you and forging a bond with your animal friend is an integral part of the care we provide. This allows us to partner with you in managing your loved one’s health, and also makes visiting the vet a more positive and stress free experience.

Puppy, Kitten, and Rescue Visits

CONGRATULATIONS on your new family member!

A free Puppy or Kitten kit will be awarded to any puppy or kitten visiting us for the first time. Included: a complimentary nail trim, a flea and tick preventative, and a dewormer.
We want your new family member to get started on a road to a long and healthy life. Puppies and Kittens that are introduced to veterinary exams at a young age are less stressed by those visits throughout their life.

Rescues
